[X4U] fall 2009 iMac & USB ports

i'm asking the question because i thought i read somewhere that starting with last year's iMacs, one of the USB ports stays powered even when in sleep mode. on the other hand, my iPhone doesn't seem to charge when it's plugged in tho the iMac…
