I replaced the 500 GB internal with a 1T in my Mac Pro. I used SuperDuper to copy the disk. Now each time I create a file or a folder on the desktop and will place it on the HD icon, I need to authenticate. Also when I move something to the trash. I never had to do that with my previous drive. I use 10.5.8. Paul Moortgat
