[X4U] A friend bought an iMac

A friend who has a G4 bought an iMac 27".  At the bottom of the screen was a haze visible.  He got a new one.  He cam home and it was on a different place now.
He when with the second one to the store where they opened one waiting for another customer and it also had this haze.  He's waiting for what will happen.
His believe in Apple is down especially because the iPad 2 he bought at the same time was frozen and couldn't switched of anymore.  Solid frozen.
But strangely enough his iPad did an auto reset at midnight.
