[X4U] Lion View Options issue

I like and greatly value a new feature in "View Options."

At the top are 2 checkboxes: one says "Always view in [View]" and the  
other says "Browse in [View]

[View] is whatever view that window is set to, icon, list, column or  
cover flow.

My trouble is that windows I've set to always open in one view or  
another don't "remember" that setting. They seem to keep wanting to  
open in List view, even if I've set them to "Icon" view.

Can anyone else confirm/duplicate this issue?
