I'm running OS 10.3.9 on a Sawtooth G4 in order to preserve my SE/30 file server which I would lose by moving to Tiger.

Sometime last week Safari stopped working with Google's search engine. Just a simple crash and burn with the submit bug here message. I assume it's a Javascript problem with the Google tribe using something too new. The first page of results comes up just before the failure which just might be some request for insertion of the ads. It could be trying to open another window as above.

The solutions:

1: Move more and more over to my Ubuntu-Linux box.
2: Use bing.
3: Use Classilla on this 8500 running OS 9.
