If you type *#06# (star, number sign, 0, 6, number sign) gives you the serial number of that cell phone. In case it's stolen you contact your provider (with this number) to block the phone forever. Not even changing the card will help. This serial is blocked. I tried it and it worked. Paul Moortgat
