Have some fun and take it apart.  There are things to be learned.  Shiny aluminum disks go to my neighbor who finds them useful, cut apart, as fishing lures but they also make nice wind chimes.

There are some high power magnets that will lock anything to your refrigerator.

The bearings come out easily and are great for use in amateur robots.
