This is a terrific list! Just when I thought I knew all the shortcuts.........
Thanks for sending it.

I have one question. The 2nd tip says:  "If you need to type a special character, the easiest way is to hold down the letter and a character menu will pop up."
I do type the word resumé quite often, but when I used your tip, I got this result:   resumeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The e just keeps repeating, no character menu pops up. Is it because I am using OS X 10.6.8 ??
