[X4U] Update Flash *NOW*!

Anyone know why I can never update Flash using the current type of installer? I always get and error message that says couldn't complete installation. Both on my 2009 MacBook and my wifes 2011. We are both running 10.9.2. It's was happening before Mavericks as well.

Uninstalling the old one doesn't help. The only thing that works is to go to Adobe's archive site of versions of Flash and download that one. It then will install properly using the older type installer program (the one with the really thick progress bar).

Thanks!
