[X4U] User ƒ - Mt Lion to Mavericks

Backup, upgrade (not wipe and reinstall) and move on with life.  But that's
me. I have a bunch of macs in a student lab and throughout the college and
I help people upgrade from major releases to point updates and I don't
recall any issues in the last several years.
