[X4U] Mavericks performance

I did the upgrade last night on my external backup HD and everything seemed to go well. I plan to run some benchmarks tonight if I have time and see if that shows any slowdowns. I opened up mail. app and let it import all my mail. Seemed OK. Then I went over to iMessages and clicked around there to see any changes. When I did that, Mail.app quit un-expectedly. I reopened it and it worked fine the rest of the night.

So my plan is to upgrade my main iMac HD on Friday afternoon.
