Ditto! I have a Vimage 320mhz G3 and a 240mhz PPC in my two 2400c's... would love a 400mhz. By the way, who made the 400mhz processor, Interware? Everymac.com has only two suppliers for 2400c processor upgrades: NewerTech made a 200mhz and a 240mzh, Vimage made a 240mzh and a 320mhz. ...but I also seem to remember that Interware made some also? I also seem to remember reading (on pbreadme.com?) that the best ones to get were the ones with "copper" insulation, as opposed to the "tin(?)" ones that heated up quickly... ------------------------------- Craig W. What kind of Ethernet dock are you using? The one I have sticks way out in the back and would make for a clunky setup. If I had a scsi to wi-fi bridge, I could use my Apple mini dock, which is more compact. Also, what kind of software are you running that allows you to do this? I only have 36MB of RAM, so memory limitations could be a problem for me. Thanks, Art in Silicon Valley COCCORP@aol.com wrote: ------------------------------- Craig W. There's also a special procedure for updating the standalone Duo battery charger to handle the Type 3. Now, as far as the bridge... I cannot remember who made it! I found it on Ebay way back when - around 2002-2003. It was designed to provide wifi access to PC machines that did not have USB or PCMCIA. It is pretty small -- about the size of a pack of cigarettes, and has a built-in clip (presumably for it to be used with a laptop). It has a VERY QUIRKY browser-based setup procedure - you have to change your settings in the TCP/IP control panel to access it - but it does do the trick. It requires a AC adapter to use it, and that part is not very cool.... but hey, the 2300c need to be plugged in TOO(!), so really as long as I can find a wall plug that has two plugs available, it's no biggie. I will take a pic of the bridge and the entire setup this weekend, Craig W. ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
