    For traveling, I use BamNet http://www.bamnet.com/ . They offer a
prepaid or pay as you go options. 4.5 to 6.5 cents per minute. If you use it
a lot, it adds up, but I only use it a few hours a year, (and there are no
phone or monthly charges).

    And it covers Macs (there are really no special requirements).
