Thanks for the help Ben, but I am not running OS X Server, so most of the suggestions in that article do not apply to me. Also, I should note that when I take my iBook to work with me, I am still able to connect to the Windows 2000 server with no problem. So I do believe it has something to do with formating my WinXP machine at home, just can't figure it out. thanks. -Brian > -----Original Message----- > From: iBook List [mailto:ibook at lists.themacintoshguy.com]On Behalf Of > Lewis, Benjamin (Ben) > Sent: Wednesday, December 11, 2002 10:21 AM > To: iBook List > Subject: Re: [P1] 'Connect to Server' > > > Brian, > > Try this :- > > http://www.macwindows.com/OSXServer.html > > At the bottom there are some hints for SMB authentication > problems in OS X Server that may help you. > > Ben > > > ---------- > > From: Brian Fish[SMTP:b.fish at durandac.org] > > Reply To: iBook List > > Sent: Wednesday, December 11, 2002 4:12 PM > > To: iBook List > > Subject: [P1] 'Connect to Server' > > > > Hello all, > > Ok...I have an ibook running 10.2.2 and a Dell (i know, i know) running > > XP.
