Music Store

Well, I downloaded iPod update 1.3, iTunes 4, and Quicktime 6.2... and
upgraded everything. Then I went to the Music Store and made my first
purchase.

Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon... because I don't have it on CD.

It was so easy, so fun to search, and they have *lots* of stuff (they
even have Edith Piaf for my father, when he gets his new iMac).

I've already added Dark Side of the Moon to my iPod, I'm listening to
it right now...

On to more surfing for singles that I want (like Coldplay's Clocks,
because, the version I got off Limewire has a small corruption in the
file).

I recommend it!

And, I think Apple has found a goldmine... there is an old saying: Sell
to the masses, eat with the classes; sell to the classes, eat with the
masses. Arguably, Apple sells its computers to the classes, but this
service is for the masses (particularly when they port to Windows later
this year).

Paul
