I briefly had a clamshell iBook who's Airport Slot didn't work. I took it to the apple centre, and they confirmed there was only one way to fix it - a logic board swap. (I sent the machine back to where I got it from and got a refund) I realise this is a different slot, but I thought I would share my experience, Sorry it isn't more hope-provoking :-) BTW, I would think your (and mine, as I now have the same model as you) would accept a very wide range of cards, PC66, PC100, PC133. For example, my iBook has just been upgraded to 640MB by swapping ram cards with an LCD iMac... My 2c Wiebe.
