Weird Mozilla problem

Hi.

I've been running Mozilla 1.2.1 on my 600 mHz iBook (10.1.5, 384 MB 
ram) for quite some time without problems. I also have Camino 0.7.0 
running. Both work fine. Problem is that when I download and install 
a new version of Mozilla (or Firebird) they simply won't connect to 
any sites, regardless of whatever other browser is running or not.

Any suggestions for things to try? Anyone else run into a similar problem?
