Here is the complete line of laptops:
Type/screen/speed/hard drive/memory/optical drive/price
iB/12/700/20/128/CDRom/$999
iB/12/800/30/128/combo/$1299
iB/14/800/30/256/combo/$1499
iB/14/800/40/640/combo/$1749
PB/12/867/40/256/combo/$1799 (no L3 Cache)
PB/12/867/40/256/Super/$1999 (no L3 Cache)
PB/15/867/40/256/combo/$2299 (1MB L3 Cache)
PB/15/1000/60/512/Super/$2799 (1MB L3 Cache)
PB/17/1000/60/512/Super/$3299 (1MB L3 Cache)
You decide... but it looks to me like the product lines don't compete.
For 500 more you get a G4 processor without L3 Cache.
