[P1] replacing battery

My iBook is the one of the first icebooks, June 01, and a few months ago, my 
battery also gave up...lasts maybe 8 minutes.
My keyboard is missing several letter-keys, and the CD/DVD case doesn't close.
<sigh>
But I am waiting to buy a new model instead of repairing this one.
