[P1] very weird thing with trackpad

This is NOT weird.  I had the same problem,  I have two solutions, 
#1, use a spray such as "Static Guard" on the floor, desk and chair. 
This has to be re-applied every so often.   #2, Purchase a 
humidifier. I did and this works best.
