Thanks Flemming,
But after spending $16 at Radio Shack buying sub-mini adapters and
cable, I got them home to find that Apple's Pro Speakers use an even
smaller jack than the sub-mini. The plug itself looks more like a
miniature power plug for an iBook in that it has a collar that fits
around the female side on the computer. The plug also has at least
three insulated sections to it as opposed to the standard stereo plug
that is divided into two sections. I have searched the web and have not
been able to come up with anything. Kensington makes a break-out box
that allows the user to use the Apple port on the computer and any kind
of speaker. If it didn't cost $25, I would consider buying one and
cutting it apart, but I'm amazed that no one else has found the cable
on the Apple Pro Speakers too short. (Sigh)
