Let me jump in at the start of this and remind people of the distinction between "Classic" (OS 9 running *within* OSX), and OS 9 running on its own (ie booted up in OS 9). Just to try to avoid confusion :-) . Ie, there's no booting into Classic, if you boot into OS9 it's not "Classic".
