Hi all, I'm a new subscriber to the list. I got my iBook a few months ago. I thought I would give my take on both questions. Regarding the screen getting grayer and grayer, this is definitely not normal. Call Apple before your Applecare runs out and fix it if it isn't too late. Regarding the second question about the gray tint to the iBook in CompUSA, this could be the system preferences. If you look in System Preferences > General, check the appearance and highlight color. This could be set to either Blue (normal) or Graphite. If it is set to Graphite, that would explain why everything looks so gray. Hope this helps. Regards, Pookey -- Michael W.
