[P1] Clamshell battery period | 4.1.7 firmware?

They have 8MB cache 2.5" HDs, great! Think I'll scoop for a 40GNX then!

Thanks, I stumbled upon a battery fix on Apple's kbase, wondered if I 
needed that, I will go and have a look at it again.

Now what about the 4.1.7 firmware update, is that the notorious 
cheap-RAM-disabling-update?
