Before you jump for the free cradle, be aware. There were several different
models of the Palm III and they used different cradles that were not
interchangeable. Make sure you get the right one. As for cost, you could
easily end up paying $40 - $50 for a replacement cradle, and I see from the
last post that a serial to USB adapter, which you'll also need, could run
you an additional $30. I'd advise you to look for a newer model, and make
sure it's one of the ones that syncs with Macs without the need for
additional equipment.
