[P1] combo drive won't open properly

I've had this problem since I bought my machine. I decided to live with 
it rather than screw around with returning it, etc.

Using the pin to eject shouldn't be a problem. I have a paperclip 
attached to my padded satchel for when I'm on the road I'm never 
without my ejection pin.
