[P1] Sony Mavica CD500 question...PLEASE HELP!

You might be facing a proprietary format issue here - if the camera is
fomatting those small CDs in a non-redbook way (ie, requiring special
reader software to access them) then you're pretty much out of luck.
If this is the case then you're unlikely to find a Mac version unless
it's been released by Sony themselves.
