[P1] Newbie question: iBook upgrades?

The new HD seemed a bit "snappier", but it could have been a bit of 
wishful thinking after all the hassle involved.  It doesn't seem to 
consume any more battery power.  It's just much nicer to have more 
room.  I put the old 10GB HD in an external firewire case.  Makes for a 
nice portable 10 Gig drive.
