Oops...are you just trying to find a way to TRANSFER them?

Does your older G3 laptop have firewire? If yes, then boot your iBook holding down the letter "t" and it will become a firewire HD. Plug it ino the G3 laptop, and put the file in the correct spot on the iBook, or just email it to yourself :¬)
