Requesting advice choosing a printer, etc

I'd like to chime in about the new HP PSC 2510 all-in-one I've started using
with my 12" PB rev B. I'm a light user of all its functions (actually
haven't faxed yet), can't make any real comparisons with other all-in-ones
(coming from a dedicated laser printer), but I'm really quite happy. The
main thing I'd highlight is that it I'm operating it wirelessly -- a
definite attribute since I move my PB around even within my study. Of
course, I'm also able to print from the kitchen, but that hasn't quite
cropped up as a prime need of mine.

Online discussion on the HP's wireless capability is quite mixed -- with
even Windows users crying foul. And the HP's driver has yet to be updated
for Panther -- which I use. So the setup was a bit Rube Goldberg. Indeed
you have to depart from the instructions, and get creative. But I figured
out how to connect to the HP in 2 of 3 ways: computer-to-computer via the
HP's built-in server; and computer-to-computer via the HP software you
install on the laptop. The third mode I haven't been able to crack is
connecting via the Airport base station. The resulting drawback is that I
have to toggle back-and-forth between the Airport network for internet and
the computer-to-computer network for using the HP. Perhaps they'll come out
with a Panther driver, but even that may not resolve Airport connectivity.
