Don't miss seeing the very fine VanDeGraff generator
show at the Boston Museum of Science.

In the photo, that little bird cage at lower left, being
zapped by the lightning bolt from the big sphere, is actually
large enough to hold a human being, which is what the little
figure with his arms up in the photo is.  The photo doesn't
convey how impressive this is viewed in person from the
viewing balcony, that close to the action, sound, and light.
