[P1] hidden files

Richard,

I have used macs for years but with the performa and OS 7 I was never 
worried about hidden files etc. I got a iMac last June but thats the 
wifes so I  never use it much, last November I bought my iBook, a 
Graphite SE 366mhz. Long and short is that I don't know much about 
terminal (basics) and cmi, you know just enough to get myself into 
trouble :-)
