Walter:

Most cameras today work fine with Macs and iphoto recognizes just about
every model. Even older cameras that lack usb, iphoto recognizes memory
readers for download.

A good source for camera info is www.dcresource.com or
www.stevesdigicams.com.

Their reviews are thorough and show operation on both Macs and PCs.

Myself, I chose to purchase the Canon Powershot A80, a 4 mp wonder that I
recommend highly. It works very well with my Canon i860 photo printer.

If you are interested, I have a Nikon Coolpix 950 for sale, you can contact
me off list if you are interested.
