I don't *think* so, but I may be mistaken. Apple is addressing a 
vulnerability that comes from using Safari (which was available for use 
only with 10.2 and better), though my understanding is that several 
other browsers are suceptable. (I suppose it would depend on how the 
"Help" system is set up in 10.1.)

*Probably* not; the reference to 10.2.8 was probably because it was the 
last version of 10.2, and the update may well work for earlier versions 
of 10.2. (But I don't know for sure.)
