Thanks!! I'll buy one tonight. $50 for the ring is not worth it imo. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Charles Pearce" <charlesp at ksu.edu> To: "A place to discuss Apple's iBook computers." <ibook at listserver.themacintoshguy.com> Sent: Monday, November 01, 2004 9:05 AM Subject: Re: [iBook] MacAlly ac adapter On Oct 30, 2004, at 7:19 PM, CJ wrote: > Hi, everyone > My iBook's ac adapter tip snapped off (it was a yoyo). I've been using the MacAlly adapter with my 700MHz white iBook for a few months. and it works just fine. The model number is AP5024 and is supposed to work with the iBook and PowerBooks. The only thing that it doesn't have is the ring around the plug that glows orange when charging and turns green when charged. The only way you tell what this one is doing is to check the menubar to see progress. Hope this helps.
