This is true, but when you look at the TCO (total cost of ownership,) I understand that Macs stack up really well, generally requiring less support, generally less mucking about with hardware, and Mac users generally keep their computers longer than PC users. Disclosure: I switched after being a Windows/NetWare support tech/admin for many years. I wouldn't have switched for OS 9, but OS X sealed the deal. On the whole, I find the Mac computing experience superior.
