I was not too clear on my first post. It does not have to be an attachment but could be a corrupt email itself. Limiting the size of the message that is downloaded (Accounts/tools/ options)will sometimes stop the corrupt portion from crashing entourage. If that works you download the remainder of each message individually to find the corrupt email.
