It's going to the Apple store tomorrow. I suppose it's too much to hope that they have a hard drive they can just swap out. Luckily, I was able to use Carbon Copy Cloner to make a backup of the drive to a FireWire disk. This is on a 1Ghz iBook G4. Has anyone else had a drive on this model go bad? -- JEL
