[iBook] Dual USB Powersupply = dead

Hi All

Been getting two local friends to charge my ibook batteries as when I 
upgraded the HD from 10 to 30 something went and best guess is that its 
the power supply system

Anyone ever swap one over or repair there's themselves?

I have a spare part from ebay but yet to do it. Any pointers or links 
to how to sites would be useful.

I discovered just today that its draining the charged batteries when 
its left in the iBook so need to keep the out of it untill needed.
