[iBook] New Macs

Rosetta is there to translate the old PowerPC code onto Intel Macs. 
It's a bit slow, but works.

Eventually however, yes, you will want to do the upgrade mambo to get
your Apps on the Intel machines.  However, this is several years away
before all the software is 100% ported.
