Thanks everyone for the feedback. I bought the warranty tonight. It was £200, which is 25% of the original cost of my (upgraded) iBook (one year ago). I have never had any serious problems with a mac, other than the hard drive becoming unmounted on my SE. . . Hopefully this one will be fine too. Thanks
