[iBook] Keyboard problem, some keys not working

I have an iBook G4.

There are some of the Keys on the Keyboard are not working.

If for example I wish to increase or decrease the size of highlighted  
text with the up key, option key and plus key, it does not work.

Page up, page down, end and home key do not work. There are other  
operations which i cannot carry out. They used to work.

Any help in solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
