If you have another Macintosh with a firewire port you can plug them into each other with a 6 Pin to 6 Pin FireWire cable. Start up the iBook holding down T and a FireWire icon will begin moving on the screen. Soon thereafter the iBooks drive will appear in the other Macs desktop as a standard FireWire drive that you can install OS X onto using the other mac. On Jul 17, 2007, at 11:36 AM, Janice F.
