No problems and it's a lot faster, looks better, works better than the old Firefox 2... with one exception: I have not found any way to organize my bookmarks. All the single bookmarks I've entered into my bookmarks library in Beta 3 cannot be found to be moved into specific folders. Rather, when "Show all bookmarks" is selected, the list of my bookmark folders shows in the sidebar but all the single bookmarks do not and only an empty folder labeled "Unfiled bookmarks" appears at the bottom. Clicking onto the "Organize" box doesn't help. Anyone know a workaround or have I missed something? FWIW, here's the download site for Mozilla's Firefox 3 Beta 3: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html Fred From jesus.is.healing.my.cancer at gmail.com Fri Mar 7 19:29:54 2008 From: jesus.is.healing.my.cancer at gmail.com (James Paul Manley) Date: Fri Mar 7 19:30:15 2008 Subject: [iBook] Firefox 3 Beta 3 On iBook: Bookmarks Organization In-Reply-To: References: <60095875-487F-4983-9AAD-39E6318F240B@bresnan.net> <2DADD1B9-7405-4FA5-BDB2-E126B22A0325@kippert.com> Message-ID: <1C0905DF-FDAE-429C-9A82-5492E4C52677@gmail.com> I tried doing a command D & selected the firefox folder & when & looked for it it was there. However, I'm gonna have to put some time in on figuring out how FF 3 itself is organized. A key is in the manner in which a Bookmark is initially saved, e.g., needs to have the correct folder selected (e.g., Bookmark Menu, Unfiled Bookmarks, Bookmark Toolbar). I still haven't found the current html Bookmark folder; the old one (last modification dtd 24 Feb 08 when I installed FF 3) is still in Users > Library > Firefox > Profiles etc etc. but no new nor updated BM Folder is extant. I made my own backup just to cover my new Bookmarks. As I mentioned, it's gonna take some time to figure out FF 3's Bookmarks organization. Mozilla sure made it more complicated than FF 2. Reckon that's progress. Thanks. Fred At 8:29 PM -0700 7/3/08, James Paul Manley wrote: >I tried doing a command D & selected the firefox folder & when & looked for it it was there.
