Ipod 3G..

Hai guys, 
    Just now I was updating ipod software 2.01. After finishing the update,
somehow, I manually remove the ipod from the dock w/o ejecting it. Now, my
ipod is hang. The screen shows "Do Not Disconnect" but  it won't response to
any commands except charging. Is there anyway to reset it or work around. I
don't mind losing all the musics and data ...Please help..Thanks in Advance
