[iTunes] Very new to this

Do you use the iTunes software?  If so, click on the Music store link 
in the window on the right side (where your playlists are)  That will 
allow you to browse the store.  I believe that you can also download 
music legally from Napster and Rhapsody now, you pay a fee of some 
sort, but I'm not very familiar with it, I have only used iTunes.

Of course, don't forget that you can put music from CDs that you 
already own onto your iPod...
