Axel, you also have to choose which folder o be  the (current) iTunes 
music folder.  In the advanced Preference Pane try choosing a folder on 
your music drive that has the songs with valid updated tags.  iTunes 
should update the song names to your preferences, mp3 suffix, track 
numbers and titles. KenK
