[iTunes] remaining time vs elapsed time

Notice, since I gotten YouControl pkg install, and view system resources,
iTunes, takes All 100% of CPU cycle to rip a few songs, off a CD...

Man, what¹s up with this ???
97 - 100% CPU cycles.. sure, its only for a several minutes...
but still Apple, could make something more CPU effective,
in fact, if iTunes, use AltiVec code... to be process by the Velocity Engine ?
but, still that allot of CPU clicks.
