[iTunes] album artwork?

Also try opening the Get Info window for the track and clicking on  
the artwork tab. Then try clicking in the white area where the art  
work should be. It the delete button becomes active, click it.

Every now and then, I run into corrupted artwork. It might not be  
your problem, though.
