[iTunes] Library consolidations

I¹ve just had to move my music files to a different hard drive for the
second time this month.
I¹m getting the question mark icons left and right.

Will consolidating remove all of the ³phantom² songs (the ones that were on
the old drives) in my iTunes library?

(I¹m hesitant to consolidate; from past experience it seems to duplicate
song files. But that might have been an error on my end...)
